My name is Clivey Baby (and more recently Albert Woss!) and I'm about 101 (as near as dammit!).
Before I retired a few years ago (I'm not REALLY 101...) I worked for BA, but now all I do is play golf and use the computer which my wife now has to allow, 'cos we're on networked broadband.
I have 10 grandchildren ranging from 8 to 18, which makes for a very noisy & expensive Christmas, so I'm still hoping to make my fortune on ebay.
Serious Stuff
I am of the generation which values good manners, honesty and reliability, so rest assured you can trust me.
I use recycled packaging materials to keep our costs down, and will deal with all auctions as promptly & courteously as I can.
MDCC {Monthly Daft Charity Coalition}
Once each month sellers aim to have fun whilst raising money for charities and good causes of their choice.
Join us in the MDCC threads on the Round Table discussion board, it's easy, it's fun and you can join in too!
A warm welcome to everyone, whether established MDCC'ers or new to MDCC you are most welcome here!
My chosen charity is Swan Lifeline , which rescues, restores and rehabilitates daft swans that fly into telephone lines, victim swans that swallow anglers' bait and swans injured by mindless vandals. These Lifeline volunteers go out in all weathers to wherever, and take the birds to a sanctuary at Eton.
'Er Indoors and I each have a cygnet (rescued from our Golf Club) named for us. How about that?
From MDCC auctions I have raised over £1300 for the swans, and you can see the latest receipt by
