Models And Movie Props

Founded in 2004 we started out as a Professional modeling and painting studio, specializing in working on kits and props from Horror and Sci-Fi movies (Aliens, Predator, Hellraiser ETC..) We had a shop in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

We still run Models And Movie Props and I am still lucky enough to call myself a professional painter; this is what I do for a living. I first started painting Games Workshop models in 1987 (Crimson Fists Space Marines) and have been involved in this industry pretty much ever since then, not only working with Games Workshop models but also doing a lot of movie based model and prop painting work. I'm a horror/sci fi movie buff, always have been since my early childhood.

In 2007 we closed the shop in Whitby in order to continue our work over the internet based in Leeds.

I also collect Star Wars armour/helmets/costumes. I'm a member of the 501st / UK Garrison and use our unique hobby to raise money for worthy causes. The 501st, also known as "Vaders Fist", is truly dedicated to brightening the lives of those less-fortunate.

I have always liked collecting memorabilia and it seems natural that one day I would set up a business doing what I love!! When I find time away from work, I am into aircooled VW's and also play drums for a Death Metal band.
