In 2007 I am stepping it up a gear with the aim to providing great services, with a human face behind it, with a few new and fun services coming soono:p>
About LBT
Well you already know the aim of the site, plastered on every page of the LBT site! Hi, I Vicky and I run LittleBlueTank.com- I a qualified life coach, internet junky and soon to be student again. So I wanted to build a website experience that puts people in touch with what theye looking for whether in a life coaching sense or otherwise, to incorporate the tonnes of resources Ie found and am finding on the internet all the time. To help users, the options are divided up into easy destinations of DIY, A Little Help and Fast Lane, so there is something for everyone. I going to be running various projects over time with the same aim o bridge gapsbeginning with the LittleBlueTank Project.
Next youe probably wondering about the name ittle Blue Tank Well it the name of a blue ford fiesta that I had which seemed quite slow and somehow it name Little Blue Tank came out of the ether. So the ot comwas added as it sounded quite cool and became the name and face of my internet and coaching enterprises. I hope it quirky different and memorable, just like the site. There are pictures of the original LBT on MySpace.com/VickyAllison.
As far as experience and qualifications for running the site, like I said, I an internet junky- have pretty much done everything on and with the internet, bought sold, browsed, posted, reviewed, written... Which brings us to web building- this is where I have least experience, so Ie built a no-frills website where everything works and the content, not the aesthetics is the important point :o) At the moment there is zilch budget for an all singing-all dancing site, but instead one which serves its purpose.
Personally I have worked in sales, retail and advertising for the last six years, obtained a Diploma in Psychology (2006) and am a qualified life coach, where I trained with life coach and author of best seller he Life Coaching HandbookCurly Martin. From this and tonnes of resources at my finger tips Ie developed my own style of real, non-fluffy, non-hippy coaching very different the stereotypical idea of coaching doing the rounds. This also brings the low cost multi-purpose email coaching/support style included in the LBT Project for those anyone not keen on traditional telephone coaching.
My personal interests and experience stretch far beyond the boundaries of self help and coaching, including (obviously!) the Internet, animals particularly dogs (their training, welfare, well anything!), walking, films, cartoons, clothes, make up, thriftiness, dvds, music, great conversation, driving, adventures... so if there any of these elements that can be brought into the whole LBT o bridge gapsaim I will. In September 2007 I begin my BA Hons Business Studies with University of Derby (with the goal of studying for the PGCE after wards and becoming a teacher) and will keep LBT going strong throughout, along with new rojects workshops and events, to fund my studies.
Enjoy the site, feel free to contact me with thoughts or ideas,
or stuff that would help us all o bridge gaps I really appreciate support
for the site in any form that it is offered :o)
You can email me at vickyallison@hotmail.com.
Please, enjoy the store, projects, websites and products. Have a great day :o)
