Power and Vision

I'm Peter Williams, a full time artist living on the East coast of Suffolk with my partner Jenny, a school teacher. Working in watercolour, pastel, charcoal, graphite and coloured pencil, I try to cover a wide range of subject matter which includes wildlife, pets, landscapes, coastal scenes and portraits.

But recently I have become more well known for my 'western' artwork, particularly featuring Native American Indians. These paintings are not meant to be historically accurate. Instead I concentrate on interpreting the spiritual side of Native American existence, using dramatic color, texture and movement to produce attractive and interesting artworks of wide appeal. These pieces sell very quickly in the USA and many are now in limited editions.

I exhibit regularly throughout East Anglia and my distinctively vibrant images, becoming more and more collectible, can be found in private collections worldwide.
