Back to previous page  Supporting the Survey Industry An RTK rental set from Carpow Support Carpow Support UK Ltd grew out of Carpow Support Fzc, based overseas in Ajman in the UAE. Carpow Support was started in 2000 by two British Engineers working abroad who saw that technical support was a market niche they could excel in. From 2000 until today, they have built the company & grown the market to its current level & are the preferred supplier of rental systems in their existing markets. The Carpow Support UK Ltd office was established in 2007 to bring the products and services offered by Carpow to the UK and is 100% British owned. As well as GPS rentals, Carpow also supplies quality cables and accessories for both the GPS and conventional survey market. While the original focus of the company was on Trimble, we now supply cables and accessories for a range of companies including Nikon, Topcon and Leica. Carpow's cables are currently manufactured in their facility in the UAE. The cables are made from western (most commonly US or German)sourced multi-strand cable and jointed to quality connectors of western manufacture. No parts for our cables are sourced from low quality suppliers. Each cable is individually tested for continuity, insulation and function before being packed for shipment. We are so confident in our quality control that we give a two year warranty on all cables (excludes normal wear and tear and misuse). Try one & find out how good they are. Carpow have manufacturer trained technicians providing repair services for equipment no longer supported by the original manufacturer. With an impressive record of repair turnarounds, we are now looking to bring this service to the UK as well & have built up a considerable inventory of spares to support this. We will shortly be placing a Classified Advertisement for our repair services on eBay, until then please feel free to contact us if you need repair services for your Trimble GPS system. With our concentration on quality, we hope to become the supplier of choice for GPS and conventional second source cables.
