ABOUT US
Countryside Fayre started because we were making cakes, jam and confectionary for friends on an ever increasing scale. As they prove so popular we decided to make for e-bay and give ourselves a greater challenge.
We have been catering at functions for over 20 years from a small dinner to large public events, we all hold Essential Food Hygiene Certificates.
All our products are prepared, cooked, baked and stored in an air conditioned building in the grounds of our working farm.
This year we have seen an abundance of lovely fruit, we have been picking blackberries from an unknown place near our farm. Beating back the stinging nettles and using a walking stick to pull the heavily laden brambles within reach. We only pick the best ones.
The apples are picked from the old trees that have seen many a good harvest, and have been on the farm for many years.
All the soft fruits are hand picked and prepared by ourselves most are from our trees and hedges around the farm, and the eggs are free range from the chicken that wonder happily around the farm. Any ingredients we do have to buy are of the highest standard.
We will be adding to our range and are always grateful for any comments or requests that you may have we know that time for baking and making preserves is not always available in busy household but that many of you would like the omemadetouch without the ddedingredients that are found in commercially produced products.
