Most customer questions are about postage and packing. I will here try to explain how I work - If anything is unclear, please email me with your query.

For all heavier items...

...I use DHL. My driver pickes up ever day, Monday to Friday. DHL also delivers Monday to Friday (with the exception of Special Saturday Delivery - which is quite costly, but possible nontheless). If you are not at home for the DHL driver, please note that it is possible to leave me a second address (neighbour, relative or work address), so that you know that there will be someone available for the driver. Your parcel will still be fully tracked and insured.

If you have purchased an item on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday, it will be packed and picked up by my courier the next following day providing it has been paid for before 10.30am (GMT) the following morning from purchase.

If you buy, and pay for, an item on, or after, Friday 10.30am (GMT), your item will be packed that day, but not picked up by the courier until the next following Monday. Please note that there are two Bank Holiday's in the UK in May (5th and 26th) and on these days (or any other Bank Holiday's) the courier will not collect.

Please note that I will never use Surface Mail as an option. I used to, but a lot of items got lost and there is no compensation to be had. I have also had trouble with ParcelForce in the past and, although I know that there are a lot of people who use them and are happy with them, I will not use them either.

For all other items...

...I use Royal Mail 1st Class within the UK and Royal Mail Air Mail Small Packets for Europe and the rest of the world - I post out Monday to Saturday.

If your item is small and/or flat enough, I will be able to post your item out on the same day of received payment if it has been paid before 4.30pm. If it's a little bulkier and/or big-ish, I will post your item out on the following day of payment.

I will always combine postage if possible - All you have to do is ask :o)

I aim to charge as little as I can for postage, but would like to add that the postage paid goes towards postage and packing - Please know that I always take great care when packing an item and I use various different material whilst (bubble wrap, newspaper paper, black bin liners, shrink wrap, strong cardboard boxes, jiffy bags etc. etc.).

I would also strongly recommend that you contact me if you are planning on buying several items from me so that I can "hold" the invoice for you. That way I am able to provide a much better service.

If the postage cost comes out cheaper than that one stated when I have packed the item, I will gladly refund the difference. Please appreciate that it is quite difficult to state the exact postage cost when listing things as it makes a huge difference to the weight when you've added the bubble wrap and the cardboard box or jiffybag. I try to be as accurate as I can though. I can only offer this service if you have paid with Paypal though, so please keep this in mind.
