 Unfortunately, eBay has managed to raise their fees - again! The last time they did this I did my utmost to absorb the extra expense myself but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to do so this time. My profits are really small and absorning another fee hike would mean I am working for nothing on many items, in fact since this latest increase I am already losing money on shoes. Therefore it is with great regret that I am going to have to raise the majority of my eBay prices by approximately 10%. Prices in my other sales portals may have to increase slightly due to the less favourable currency exchange rates (most of my stock comes from Ireland), but will be no more than 5%. The eBay price changes will come into effect within the next week. 
 

Georgielocks' Irish Dance Shop will become a fully vistitable (is that even a word??) entity very soon. WE ARE ABOUT TO EXCHANGE CONTRACTS SO I SHOULD HAVE AN OPENING DATE SHORTLY - I EXPECT IT WILL BE SOMETIME IN OCTOBER/NOVEMBER. WATCH THIS SPACE!!

 

The eBay store and website will not change, I will still be happy to send items out all over the world! (Although the volume of listings may, in order to keep my prices low!) Hopefully those of my customers who are relatively local will be regular visitors and will continue to recommend Georgielocks' to their dancing friends!

Sock glue is in stock (&listed)! I do also carry shoe-laces for soft & hard shoes and the wide elastics and am happy to take orders for bloomers; unfortunately I am unable to list them but would be happy to add them to your order - just ask! Please check out my About Me and "My World" pages for more about Georgielocks!

There is now a waiting list for new Irish Dance Costumes. I am unable to start making any more until 2009.

I think it's all working ok now. It does still need work, but mostly the website is doing fine! Some items will still need to be ordered by phone or email though - the basket process is unbelievably complicated! Lots of items have not yet made it onto the site but I am happy to email photos and details if there is something you need that I have in stock!

 

Local(ish!) customers will soon be able to pop along to my shop at 6 Gossops Parade, Crawley RH11 8HH to browse and buy all my items listed on here plus more lines, including ballet, tap & jazz shoes, more gifts etc, etc! In the meantime, you are welcome to make an appointment to come to my home and view my stock. If you prefer to buy by phone, that's fine too!
