About Me
Hello ladies and welcome to a
little insight into Havershams4u....we havn't been very
prominent on ebay this summer...sorry! but that is all about to
change! we have a collection very worth checking back for this
Autumn 2008, so save us to your favourites to keep checking our
boutique. We have so many new labels and old ones that you
gals love, its been great chatting with our regulars and some of
you from thepast...its great to see you back again!
Our new store front, celebrates the birth of our new online
shop, details of which can be found on our
blog...so its all
very exciting! and we will be working hard to be running the
both for you lovely ladies....we aim to list everyday on Ebay,
we run it slightly down through the summer, as some of you know,
I teach my, now 15 year old daughter from home, so we like the
summer to ourselves, I answer your questions as soon as I can
and we send parcels as soon as we can...we have a map in our
office, so Rosie is a dab hand at her countries!...Summer is the
time for fun! and we have a great time (although the weathers
not been too good!) learning, exploring and in general having a
great time! So thanks for bearing with us!
Well I suppose I should tell you a little about myself.....I am
forty something, (decided not to count after forty!!) brown
haired, blue eyed, tall and overweight!...I have been overweight
for mostly all my life!...I remember being 10 stone when I was
10 years old...but then I was tall for my age! I was already 5ft
9" then! and I should mention that I was born a blonde...but
just because you are born a certain colour, doesn't mean you
should be that colour for life....as I got older my roots got
darker and I hated that ginger root experience! so with the help
of a fantastic little website called
Hairmixer I tried on a few
hairstyles and that enabled me to become a brunette...you should
try it it is so fun!
I am a designer and a creater of
all things funky and unique...I love being different and in my
quest for finding unusual jewellery for my boutique...Havershams
(now closed!) in Rochester High street, I stumbled on a brand
called Completo Lino by Arthurio...I loved their style...so
funky and European...I had already started to layer clothes in
our window displays, and this style fitted right into what we
wanted to achieve!...so I started to sell it in our shop...we
had to close this boutique due to illness in the family, but i
started to sell it on my website and on Ebay, then not knowing
what catergory to put it under, because it just wasnt getting
noticed as people, just didn't know this brand...so i suppose
you could say we were the first lagenlook sellers on Ebay! Apart
from the Sarah Pacini's and the Oska fans there just wasn't the
choice! We made that possible...offering a unique blend of
art to wear...something different, something unusual, something
worth wearing for a change!...and especially where sizing is not
an issue!
I put together my listings with great care for you all - I love
creating remember so this comes as a natural thing for me, I
love dressing the mannequin, for you all to see how to wear our
unique collections....this season we will be offering many
accessories, to help you to bring an outfit together....
I am very deaf, or so my children keep telling me, I think its
just them mumbling!....I work long hours as I only need about
4-5 hours sleep (thank heaven for my Tempur matress! and I am
dyslexic, so I apologise for the spelling mistakes! there have
been a few and there will be many more no doubt! oh and I am a
procrastinator and a perfectionist! yes you try living with me!
Its such hard work! LOL!
I decided to make my listings private a few months ago.....I
always think If you bought something from Dickens & Jones, you
wouldn't show everyone in the shop and everyone in the street
what you bought and how much you paid for it would you?
Wouldn't you want to choose who you showed what you bought
too...thats why I decided to make all the listings
private...then everything you buy is protected and only you the
purchaser can decide who you would like to show it too....its
really worked great so far and I have had so much good feedback
about it - thanks gals!
Oh and we WILL be accepting many more methods of payment in the
future...to clarify we will accept...
PAYPAL, CHEQUES, POSTAL ORDERS, CASH ON COLLECTION, AND ALL
MAJOR CREDIT CARDS THROUGH PAYPAL!

long...its just there is so much news!...I just thought I had
better add a little info here as with a blank page...its so
impersonal!...If you ever have any questions, please do not
