I started selling on amazon back in 2002.  Then realised they charge to much in fees & I was selling quite a lot on amazon.  I wasn't getting the right price for the item I sold.  So one day I thought about ebay.

I Thought about it for a while & thought I may as well wait until I had a new pc first.  But then I bought my first item on ebay.  A week or so later I sold my 1st item on ebay.  That's really how it all started.  I started by putting a few on ebay at a time then I started putting on a dozen.  The great thing I like about ebay is that you can choose your own starting price, postage price too.

On amazon the fees they charged were higher than the postage costs they gave.

I was losing out a lot of the time especially when I went to the post office.  I wasn't over charged at the post office but I didn't realise how much they charge until I moved to Wales.

Since I have been in wales I have saved on buying envelopes by just packing them securely in brown paper & bubble wrap.

I have been with ebay for 2 years 6 months & have already sold 2000 items & received over 1000 feedback.  I realise it may not seem much to some people.  But the reponse I get from ebuyers is great I have sold to abroad customers.  Done a few deals with customers such as buy one get postage free or save 50p- on second or more items.  Plus also I have offered Free Mystery gifts for certain items I have sold which has helped me boost bids & sales.

I use to trade on amazon but I didn't sell that much especially since i was hacked into & my account was closed down.  That's one thing I found with ebay it is very secure.  My ebay prices start off very cheap.  Not all the ones I list sell straight away but they sell eventually.  I specialise in music singles, dvd's, cd albums, sacd's, cassette albums & videos, videos games, books, magazines & strategy guides too.
