For those of you who are new to Common Threads fiber arts and more - let me introduce myself. My name is Jen. Along with my partner Shawn and my daughter Lena, I own and run a farm and fiber arts business. Shawn is the maker of Laffing Horse triangle looms, crochet hooks and knitting needles. Lena spins the most glorious handspun yarn, does all our fiber dyeing and tends our flocks. I am the weaver and crocheter, packing clerk, bookkeeper and general manager. The Common Threads fiber arts and more eBay store is one of the retail arms of the Foxbriar Farm. We live in the beautiful, bountiful Arkansas Ozarks. We are committed to working with our land naturally and raising healthy, happy livestock. We raise Jacob sheep, colored angora goats, LaMancha dairy goats and guardian llamas.

We have a few retired horses decorating our pastures (we used to ride trail, train race horses, do team penning and dressage before we got so busy!) We say they are laughing at us will we work. We make a wide variety of products from the milk, wool and herbs that we raise here on the farm including goat's milk soap, lip balms, lotions, felted wool balls, fleeceyful wool rugs, slippers, hats, handspun yarns and Spirit Bells. If you are looking for something along those lines that you don't see in our store, just ask, we probably have it in the workshop. We sell at craft shows and a few galleries and our store, as well as here on ebay, and we often work on orders, including ebay sales as they are received.
I list however many of an item that we have in stock when I put up the listing, and try to convey in my description that these hooks are hand crafted and so may take a while to ship. Sometimes we have more than 9, like when we are getting ready for a big show, and other times it may be few weeks before an order reaches the top of his production schedule. I try to send ebay messages to anyone whose orders will take more than 5 days to create, and I do ask in many of my listings that people please send me an bay message with questions on delivery times. We love questions and the individual interaction we have with our customers here on ebay and at shows.
