I am a civil war seamstress who delights in authenticity. I love to recreate dresses from CdVs (civil war photos) and from original dresses. I am also a civil war reenactor, and participate in Civil War Living Histories. I custom make dresses for a number of ladies in my reenactment circle.

The Daughters of the Civil War Collection comes from studying the history of my family. My husband and I have lots of ancestors who fought in the Civil War. I love to think about the family who did not fight, such as the wives and daughters who had loved ones who fought. The civil war had a great impact on the ladies during that time. The Daughters of the Civil War Collection is to Honor those ladies.
If you have an original dress or photo of one of your family members, I would love to recreate that dress for you. Please inquire for more information.
