My name is Kirstie and I live in Paisley, Scotland which is about 10 miles up the motorway from Glasgow. I no longer work due to health reasons but I keep up with my voluntary work for Hessilhead Wildlife Hospital, I pick up sick and injured wildlife in the area. I’ve always been creative so to keep myself from getting bored I decided to take up jewellery making. I only make a few items per month, so every piece is unique – nothing massed produced here! I do a range of items – anklets, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I tend to use Swarovski crystals (a lot), gemstones, silver and gold-fill. And how can I forget the guys? I do a range of very popular surfer style necklaces in black, green and brown with a range of semi-precious stones and Bali silver clasps.
