Welcome to my small corner of the eBay World
Hello, my name is Sandy, I live in a very quiet and little known area of Leicestershire with my husband Gerry and our collection of moggies (cats).
How this all began for me.
I have been ill (with M.E.) for several years, and eventually got to the stage when I had to give up work about twelve years ago. At first I was too ill to do anything, but eventually I realised that I desperately needed an outlet for my creative energies. I took up spinning, wonderful, very therapeutic too, but not going to earn me a living, sadly. A long, long time ago I used to make jewellery for a really great craft shop in Nottingham - something I thoroughly enjoyed, and could easily be done from home. I can't get out to craft markets and fairs, so working from home and selling via eBay is pefect for me and a lot of other people like me. As well as designing my own jewellery, (take a look at my web site on http://www.picturetrail.com/leicester-lady for examples) I also collect vintage pieces from fellow eBayers and sellers around the world, either singly or as lots. I clean them up, and restring and repair where necessary (some of the pieces in very poor condition or beyond help are canabalised to repair others).
I am now predominantly a bead seller - almost by accident. I started selling off the beads I had in stock that were surplus to my own requirements, but this became so popular that I am now importing beads especially for resale, and have a growing following of greatly appreciated regular repeat customers who obviously have an eye for quality and value. It's become quite a challenge to find new and interesting beads at a reasonable price from all around the world. New beads, vintage beads, designer, craftsman, one off beautiful beads - you will find a great selection here. I LOVE BEADS!
I'm having fun and my customers are happy people - what more could a girl ask for!
