Hi, I'm Jan and I run Cameo Crafts. I am married with 2 grown up children and a beautiful 15 month old Grandaughter Darcey. I have 2 Westies, 11 Cats a Rabbit (my daughter's really) and a pond full of goldfish. However I am passionate about crafting.
I have been 'Crafting' since the age of 17 in various forms, from making cuddley toys, watercolour painting, soft furnishings, knitting, crocheting etc..etc..
3 Years ago I discoverd the wonderful craft of cardmaking, and I am passionate about it. I started selling cards to friends and family and now it has extended further. I also now run a Craft Club at the local Salvation Army Community Hall, in Hartlepool.
Designing is a more recent thing. I started designing my own CD ROMs and am self taught with graphics packages etc., I am now using a new 3D software programme to create new and exciting things for my customers.
My templates are more out of frustration at other template prices and not being able to readily find the templates I would like. I decided to create a range that was affordable to everyone. I have a long list of templates yet to create, every time I have an idea I write it down, which can be a nuisance when I'm out and about. I always create the project myself and where I feel necessary include instructions, even some extras like Decoupage and Backing Papers to compliment.
I consider myself friendly and reliable, only too willing to help, and I hope my potential and regular customers find this is true. Any problems just email me!
