My name is Elaine, and I am a mum of four at home, whos main purpose of selling on eBay, is to sell my childrens outgrown clothing, and use the money raised to buy more.
I hope that my feedback reassures you that I am an honest person, and if there are any problems when an item has reached you, I am more than happy to work with you to resolve them. Please let me know of any problems in an email, and not by leaving feedback, as it is easier to sort things out that way, rather than having one of those silly feedback slanging matches that we often see.

WHY DO I WANT PEOPLE WITH PRIVATE FEEDBACK, OR NON PAYING FEEDBACK TO CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING?
As I am a mum at home, I am sure that you will understand how important it is for me to get paid quickly for anything that I sell, this has been spoilt recently with a lot of non payers, that will not respond in any way until I file a dispute, then either do not pay, issue an e-cheque that takes ages to clear (which I then refuse), or pay immediately, and get annoyed because I have DARED to open a dispute with eBay.
If you have private feedback, I ask you not to bid until you contact me, as I will request that your feedback is unlocked for me to see before I can accept your bid, even if it is all positive, I will still wish to see it, as I will also check what has been left about others.
I also ask those with negatives for non payment to contact before bidding, so that they can inform me how, and when they will pay if they are successful. I am sorry to have to be like this, but I waste so much time on non payers, that I would rather check people out beforehand.

I check out the feedback of EVERYONE who bids on my items, or contacts me with a question while watching the item. If I do not like what I see, I will block that person from my auctions.
If you have poor feedback, are a persistent non payer, or have too many bid retractions, I respectfully ask you NOT to bid on my items. I really don't need the hassle
PACKAGING & POSTAL COSTS.
I charge a standard rate for my postage. The rate that is quoted on my listings is for UK only.
The UK postal system has changed, and rates vary according to the size and weight of the item.
I buy postage sacks, and other packing materials, so that items arrive well packed, and undamaged.
When I quote a postal cost, this is not just for the price of the stamp on the front, but for all costs and handling associated with posting the items. Please understand this when bidding.
All packages are sent by First class RECORDED unless they are too heavy, in which case I use either Standard Parcels, or a courier.
Please do not ask for me to send unrecorded. I send recorded for yours and my peace of mind. A signature, or lack of one, is the only proof of delivery/non delivery that Paypal will accept in the event of a claim.

Do not ask to collect an item from my house, unless the auction states pick up only, as I will refuse.
My family life is private. Please respect that.
I also do not deliver, unless it states that I do on the auction.
Please do not ask for a postage reduction on a single item. My postage is worked out so that it is as low as I can get it. I CANNOT go any lower without being out of pocket myself. I am not making a profit from postage.
If you buy multiple items within three days of each other, please email me to let me know, and I will invoice you at the end, and hopefully manage a reduction for you, depending on weight.
I do not use recycled packaging, or brown paper that could tear, but quality bags and inner wrapping.
These are bought at the lowest price I can find. I do not go out to the post office, and buy those heavy, and very expensive post bags, as I do not think that you should pay for the extra weight of these, and also they are far too expensive.
This lady provides a great service for buying your ebay packaging materials, and I really recommend her to you all!

I do not sell anything that I would not be happy to recieve myself. I do not write names on labels, I do not sell items with mended areas without mentioning, and I do not sell worn out or faded items. These items are usually taken to my local RSPCA, where they either get sold in the charity shop, or are used for dog chews. I would not insult you with these items.
Used does not mean worn out!
