OUR NAME: *Portside Technologies* comes from both our location Newport (along side the Port so Portside) and the type of items that we sell (Technology, plural for all of it). WHY EBAY: I guess that is a stupid question really... apart from the fact that you can sell items to anyone, anywhere in the world (except Nigeria ;)), the outgoings are very low. As many of you are probably well aware this is a highly desirable starting point for any new seller, premises, rent, bills and advertising can make a serious dent in your bottom line if opening a real shop, all of which are nullified when selling on eBay, spare some listing fees and final value fees. OUR PRESENCE ON EBAY: We have not been an active presence on ebay until now as we wanted to find as many suppliers of gadgets, consoles and computer components as we possibly could in order to source our stock at the most competitive prices, this ensures that we can pass on our savings to you, our valued customers. As you can see by our feedback we are a professional eBay operation, and in the short time that we have been active we have sold a large number of technologically diverse items. OUR CURRENT EBAY STATUS: Please do not be put off by our current low feedback, if you care to take a closer look you will see that all of the comments are very positive. We have a lot of experience in ebay trading and have only decided to start a new ebay id in order to build a solid foundation to work from and focus on the products that we will now be selling. SHIPPING* In order to relieve some of your concerns we are offering collection on all of our products as well as shipping via Royal Mail Recorded and Special delivery, we also ship items internationally by Royal Mail International Signed for, all of which are trackable via the Royal Mail website, so we always know the status of your dispatched items.
