I'm a regular ebayer; I buy a lot more than I sell. As a buyer I'm very patient, pay promptly and always try to leave feedback.  As a seller I try to treat people as I would like to be treated.  I am not a business, I tend to sell items I no-longer want or received as a gift or as part of a kit.  I describe the items accurately, and deliver quickly, usually within a few days (depending on post). 

I have however, had a bad experience with a buyer (almost fell for a scam), as such I now only accept paypal, will only post to the UK and do not accept returns.  The products I sell are always in great condition, and by clearly stating my policies I hope that only genuine, reliable ebayers will bid.  I sell very responsibly, am 100% honest and aim to provide a great service.  If buyers have any problems I will always do my best to help.
