It is recommended by Gillette that platinum and white gold items be recoated annually to keep them in a new shiny condition. Obviously this is down to the individual as to whether or not they bother, your local jeweller would be able to get this done at a cost effective rate. Items I'm selling are NOT going to be new, the condition will be stated on the auction page. All of my items are sent Special Delivery or International Signed For. Your item will be posted the day following paypal clearance. I will email you via paypal to let you know that the item is in process and show you what the track & trace details are, I will also email on the day of despatch to confirm the item is on its way. Special Delivery £4.60 within the U.K. guaranteed next day, International Signed For to Europe £5.50, International Signed For to the rest of the World is £6.50 can take up to 3 weeks to arrive. I do not make anything on my postal charges, if you take into consideration the cost of bubble wrap & padded bags. I do not and will not use recorded delivery as jewellery & coins are not insured using this method. Please when bidding for jewellery or coins, make sure your seller is using special delivery or international signed for. It might cost you a little bit more, but for your peace of mind it is worth it. Should your item go missing, it is down to the seller to deal with the claim against the delivery company not the buyer. Please don't allow yourself to be fobbed off. Regrettably I am not responsible for the amount of time it takes items to arrive at their destination abroad. USA customs are very stringent about scanning all items being sent into the country due to the 9/11 terrorist attack and items are taking longer than usual to arrive at their destinations. I'm sorry, there really is nothing I can do about this. But, please email or Skype me (christine_ed) should you have any concerns, or check the Royal Mail website using the link below. Once on their site click on "Track an item" and enter the number I supplied you with via Paypal, this will tell you about the progress of your item, once it is in the hands of Royal Mail. Smytham Manor is the place to go in North Devon, it's ideally situated in Little Torrington, and has been awarded the gold award by David Bellamy Conservation Awards for the past 7 years, it is also 4 star rated by The English Tourist Board. A lovely small site standing within 23 acres of undulating countryside. Log cabins available for holiday rentals. Touring caravans,campers & cyclists always welcome. Holiday homes available to buy - It is in my opinion one of the nicest places to go in the area. We fell in love with the place and bought a static holiday home 8 years ago. It's ideal as I've a couple of antique jewellery dealers down there who always keep me in mind when they get some nice pieces come in. It's really well set out for campers and touring caravans alike. 16amp electric hook-up. Underfloor heating in the toilet & shower block. Laundry room with washing machine and tumbler dryer also a freezer for ice blocks. Washing up area. Outdoor heated swimming pool within a walled garden. Childrens play area and games room. Family bar for a quiet drink in the evening. Wi-fi network cards available from reception for a reasonable charge. The photographs below show how cheeky the wildlife can be. The baby bluetit flew into our caravan and watched us for a while instead of the other way round!
