Hi There ...

Based in Cornwall, UK, I am an avid Vampirella fan of 'mature' years. A few years ago I stopped collecting all the main stream comics and decided that I would focus on one title only - and the only title I could not bear to be without was Vampirella. I now have a large collection of almost every Vampirella comic ever produced (including alternative covers, specials etc.), statues/models, original artwork, clothing, in fact anything with Vampirella on it!

I am now in the process of building a web site devoted to all things Vampirella, the comics, the statues and toys, live models who have donned the Vampirella outfit, unpublished artwork, the weird and wonderful ephemera, and much more ... if you have an hour to spare (it is a very large site) take a look at VAMPILORE.CO.UK.

My eBay Aspirations ...

Obviously I intend to fill the few remaining gaps in my Vampirella collection (back issues are hard to get hold of in the UK) and I always like to get hold of some good original artwork. I also have thousands of other comics I will am selling intermittently (including X-Men dating back to the very first issues when Iceman looked like a snowman!). The proceeds from my comic sales goes into buying more Vampirella stuff ...

I am quite pleased to have a good eBay feedback rating which includes many repeat buyers/ sellers, and I am a verified member of PayPal.

Other Interests ...

Varied and many, I have worked in legal marketing, was a lecturer (and A level examiner) in Psychology, grow Cacti for relaxation and have been training in Karate for over 30 years. I have spent many months driving around Cornwall in a very big Mercedes Sprinter van or a 7.5 tonne lorry, and I am currently one of only a handful of Cornish Miners still working in a Cornish Tin Mine! Talk about being a dying breed!

I also have a growing portfolio of Web Sites to my credit, and am getting quite slick at using PhotoShop, DreamWeaver, and am working on Flash, and PHP.

I enjoy most Sci-Fi - Babylon 5, Star Trek (especially Voyager and Enterprise), Farscape and Lexx (not a big fan of Star Wars though ... never really grabbed me). I am well into the BBC's new series of Dr. Who, a long overdue revamp and "bring up to date" of a classic series, and it's adult orientated Torchwood spin-off.

Musically I enjoy everything from Elgar to the Eurythmics, Daft Punk to Divine, and a wide range of electronic music; e.g. Kraftwerk, Yello, the Grid, Vangelis and the Cocteau Twins. I also quite enjoy some of the older and more obscure bands from the early 70s such as Fox, Flock of Seagulls, Psychedelic Furs and Altered Images.

I have made quite a few new friends via eBay, and intend to make some more as time passes. If you have nothing better to do drop me an email and tell me what the weather is like where you are, or how your teddy bear collection is going, or the latest bad taste joke!!!
