Originally from Kettering, Northamptonshire, the Silk Pixie is now based in South Cheshire in the United Kingdom, a textile artist, beader and craft worker. Producing a range of silk beads, buttons, braids and pictures inspired by nature, architecture and vintage vehicles including motorcars and aeroplanes.
Items in the Silk Pixie Store portray my love of history and ancient crafting techniques, many of which are utilised in the items on offer. Techniques used include needlelace and bobbin lace .
