How I got started on eBay...

 

 

Just call me Sunshineyjewel (or Jackie if you like!)


I'm a bar manager and married mum of two with a bit of a crush on Vincent D'Onofrio and a unhealthy fascination with lotions and potions! 

I need a new bathroom - badly! The one I've got is trying to collapse into the kitchen which is directly below it. (It's just not as relaxing laying in a bubble bath as it used to be!) 

I got the builders in to look at the bathroom and offered them "payment in kind" but they said that they'd just as soon have the cash if I didn't mind... so here I am an eBay seller!

At the moment I haven't made much money because I keep buying stuff. (MUST stop doing that!)

This is the kind of listing you can expect to see when I start to run out of stuff to sell! 

I won't sell my kidneys, my kids, or my cat (and it's waaaay too late to auction off my virginity!) but I'm prepared to sell anything else we've got! 

I'd like to sell the things I love, and the only thing I know anything about is beauty products - so expect to see some Bare Escentuals, philosophy, Gatineau, Elemis, L'Occitane, Smashbox and anything else I fall in love with!

Plus I've promised Hubby that I'll sort out my clothes and try very hard to confine my clothes to just my own wardrobe! At the moment I fill my wardrobe, Hubbys - and my special occasion clothes are in my sons wardrobe... My daughters wardrobe is too full for me to colonise her space. (Like mother like daughter!)

Stuff you might want to know...

I try to BE professional...but I'm not a professional seller. 

I keep my postal charges reasonable. 

I package as if Royal Mail is going to play a full 90 minute football match with your parcel!

I'm on first name terms with all my local PO counter staff because I'm there so often - so you can expect to get your parcel quickly.

And I respond to email as soon as I see it. (but I do work for a living  as well, so it's not always instantaneous!)

I would prefer to send all parcels Recorded Delivery, because it's online trackable.

If you're not happy about some aspect of my eBay life then tell me! 

I'm really proud of my Feedback record which hasn't been damaged *too much* so *please* don't mess it up without speaking to me first.
