I began my career way back in nineteen hundred and frozen stiff as a musician and for a few decades earned my living playing, arranging, composing and instructing. Unfortunately I made the mistake of also teaching it ... and after a quarter of a century fighting the good fight in the Comprehensive System my health wouldn't take any more. Rather than fold and be put in a funny farm I gave up the world of teaching for ever and set about making a new life in my other passion, that of Complementary Therapy, with Chiropody Services and Footcare as the main focus of the business. Hey, somebody has to love feet!
My lifelong passion for books, music and recordings in whatever media, coupled with the fact that I am an inveterate hoarder, now leaves me sharing a house with far too many of all of them, and bills to pay... Enter eBay. It also proved a useful platform from which to sell surplus items from my Therapy practice.
New EU directives have meant I had to split business and personal into two pages - so please visit me under my eBay alter ego of Arctotherapist for anything connected with my business. Since I've been a member of eBay I've traded with some really friendly and obliging sellers, many of whom gladly shared their experience and advice - unfortunately, I've been shafted sometimes by villains who took the money and scarpered without sending me any goods, sadly there are dishonest folks out there, mercifully they are rare.
