I offer a great selection of original adverts which is second to none! All the adverts are genuine originals from the date stated and have been carefully removed from 'punch' magazines of the time. I never sell photocopies and always provide high resolution photographs for you to examine, highlighting any flaws.
As the adverts and prints are around 50 years old, the paper may have darkened at the edges, have slight crinkles and creases or other minor signs of age. Sometimes they are printed on thin paper and the image on the other side shows through. I always try to describe the condition of any adverts in detail and supply large high resolution photographs for you to examine.
If I have made an error in the listing and you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me before leaving feedback as it can usually be resolved amicably. I always obtain a proof of posting certificate from the Post Office. Refunds are given for items lost in the post or if I have made an error, not if you have misread the listing. One woman thought she had bought an actual 1960s Kenwood Chef mixer for £1.50 plus £1 for postage!!!!
The adverts and prints are carefully packed in a plastic sleeve and backed with cardboard. Board-backed envelopes are simply not up to the job in our opinion! This careful packaging takes time and this is reflected in the P&P rates charged. it is not just the price of the postage stamp on the envelope so PLEASE bear this in mind when leaving feedback. If you are not 100% happy with your purchase please CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK and we can resolve any issues.
The FLAT RATE SHIPPING offer means just that. Whether you buy 1 advert or 100, you only pay the highest P&P rate for one item (typically just £1.50 for large adverts or £1 for small ones within the UK) but only when the items are paid for at the same time in ONE TRANSACTION within approximately 7-10 days. The reason is that Paypal charges 20p for every transaction plus a percentage, so it is essential that multiple purchases are combined into ONE INVOICE or I cannot offer this discount. Just let me know when you have finished shopping and I will send a combined invoice.
