Acting since the age of 5;performing Magic since 9. Trained in Classical ballet. Taught drama for 40 years; trained at Saltley College. Directed, acted, choreographed, adjudicated.Director of Nottm. Playhouse Youth Workshop 1964 to 72. Tutored several Youth Theatres in Nottm & Sheffield. President of the Nottm. Guild of Magicians 8 times.Awarded Magician Of The Month for my reproduction of The Dante(legendary illusionist) Show in1980, by the International Pres.of IBM.Write the Dear Magician series in the magic weekly,Abracadabra.Vice Pres.of Nottm & Notts. Drama Assocn. Pupils included late Richard Beckinsale, Su Pollard,Torville & Dean, Sherrie Hewson,Chris Gascoyne, Alex Hanson, Stuart Wood, Paul Slack. Retired early at 56. Formed Sunshine Theatre in 2001 with my wife Barbara.
