Dear Ebayer or Ebayeress

 

If you bought and / or liked any of my items then there is an easy way you can be alerted of new listings and buy my future items at a minimum 10% discount (or more).

 

This is exclusive only to my past buyers or Ebayers who have visited this About Me page and subscribed by giving their first name and email address below.

 

Why am I doing this?  Well although there are so many good things to say about Ebay and the fact that it empowers ordinary people to buy & sell to other ordinary people (as opposed to most of the rest of the internet where only the big corporations can do big business via e-commerce), there is one aspect of Ebay which has room for improvement as far as I am concerned.

 

Ebay IDs and the anonymity that goes with it (admittedly there are also some benefits of this as far as security is concerned) means that I really don’t know the names of my buyers and sellers, and therefore there is no way I can build a successful long-term trading relationship with anyone on Ebay .

 

To counter this effect, and to reward my past buyers what I have committed to is a fixed 10% discount throughout 2009. So whenever I lista new item, I alert my past buyers by email that they can use their 10% discount on that item if they choose to buy it.

 

Similarly you as a visitor to this page, which is my About Me page, can have the same alerts in your inbox whenever I list something new on Ebay in the future. All you have to do is submit your first name or Ebay ID (either will do) & email address, and I will send you a quick alert occasionally when I list a new item.

 

PRIVACY POLICY: Your email address will not be shared, rented or sold to anyone, and you can unsubscribe at any point.
