First I'd like to say, "I'm a really nice person and you can trust me not to run off with your cash". But that's exactly what a dirty rotten robber would say, so I suppose it's not much help.

I start most of my auctions with an extremely low start price (well below my purchase price) and I never use a reserve. Although I've had a few spectacular losses, this makes life interesting and I'm happy to work on the averages. I don't mind losing sometimes. I sometimes use higher start prices or buy-it-now.

Postage Charge
Postage and insurance will be added to the final bid price. Everything is well packed with plenty of padding and top quality packaging materials. I cover the insurance myself. Many couriers won't insure fragile items to some countries (including the US), but I do.
The Postage charge includes:
- The stamps (I try to give a range of options)
- Recorded delivery or tracking
- Full insurance against loss or damage
- Any VAT or sales tax due
I will never try to make a profit from the postage charge".
I always quote the charge in advance (on each auction listing) although this will be reduced when multiple items are shipped together.

Insurance
The insurance (included in the postage charge) covers the full amount paid and covers loss and damage for all items to all countries. I will probably ask for damaged goods to be returned but I will pay for the return postage.

Returns
I'll refund the full bid price for any item returned within 30 days of delivery. This can be for any reason. If the return is because of a mistake by me, then I'll also refund all postage and packaging costs. The sale is not final until you are satisfied with what you have bought.

Obviously, I don't want anyone to be unhappy with what they buy, and I don't want items to be returned. Therefore I always try to provide clear and accurate descriptions with plenty of photographs.

If you spot a mistake in any of my listings, please tell me about it. If my "beautiful-one-of-a-kind-antique", is still being given away with McDonalds' Happy Meals, don't assume I'd rather not hear about it. I appreciate all comments and questions.
