Howdy ya'll! Well, that is how we say it here in Texas. I am a single mother of two kids in college. The photo is my son and I on a cruise for his high school graduation. Because of my expensive children, I decided to try selling things on Ebay. I love to shop for a bargain, and now, I pass those bargains on to you. My garage is getting a little crowded but is lovingly stuffed for you, my buyers. So far, I am not much of a business woman. I lose more money than I make, but I hope to get a little better at that or have fun trying. In my real job as an Intensive Care Unit nurse, I make life and death decisions on a dime. This is suppose to be more fun, but it's not. I love my patients. If you didn't gather from the name, I have spent twenty two years in the U.S. Army Reserves. I definitely have a patriotic side. Well, this is my personal section and all about me. I do need to discuss my Ebay store some too.
As I have said above, I have lost more money than I have made. I must admit, I am a little frustrated with some buyers. I now have to spell out "rules" because of buyers who don't seem to understand how Ebay works. Here are my store rules:
- You buy it, please pay for it, or do not buy
- Be patient, I ship so quickly after purchases. If it isn't there, did you pay for USPS Parcel Post or USPS Priority (it does make a difference)
- If you opted out of buying insurance, don't email me with any "breaking" news, you are now responsible and it is all yours! After all, I ship things lovingly from my home in one piece and packaged carefully.
- All sales are final! All listed prices are final! Shipping and handling can be negotiated! Don't ask me to change the price just because you found it cheaper elsewhere--then buy it elsewhere. You are not entitled to pay any price of your choosing. I am entitled to set the price based on how much I paid for the item, plus sales tax, plus Ebay listing fees, plus Ebay selling fees, plus Ebay store fees, plus Paypal final value fees, plus gasoline used to buy it, etc. Even to sell something at a dollar, costs me at least sixty cents in fees.
- Finally, shipping isn't just the postage needed to get it from me to you. It includes those "handling" fees. Yes, it does cost money to lovingly package it for you. My bubble mailers went up in price at Dollar General, who was less expensive than Walmart. Now each bubble mailer is at least $0.82 each. Bubble wrap is even more expensive if your item should need to be protected even more. Shipping labels aren't free. Gas is definitely not free. Hmmm...I get rated lowest in this area and lose money around 40% of the time when costs are calculated out. When you give me less than five stars for shipping costs, I pay twenty percent higher selling fees to Ebay. I pay more in fees, you pay more to me where I do not lose money. Is it all making sense now?
I strive and work very hard to provide 5 star service! I ship within 48 hours, I always combine shipping, I have refunded lots of money, I try to communicate effectively, and my descriptions are, well, my descriptions along with actual photos of the items. Any issues, don't bid or do ask!
Thank you for your support and interest in learning more about ME!
