Music has always been a big part of my life. I honestly don't know what life would be like without it. I got given my first record when I was 7 (I don't count 'Funky Gibbon' by the Goodies) from my dad it was Atomic Heart Mother by Pink Floyd, a strange choice to give a 7 year old you may think but I think my dad wanted me to realise that how much diversity there is in music and not just to settle for what is rammed down your throat by radio/TV. I was brought up on Zappa, Weather Report and more commercial bands like The Smiths and Depeche Mode so as not to be channeled in one particular genre direction.

Ok so I am rambling but I just like to let you know how passionate I am about music. It has surrounded most of my best memories in life and so brings me to EBay and my CD store.

I started selling CDs to get some extra pocket money and like most people had a few CD fau pauxs in my collection that I knew I would never play again. So these sold, I got good feedback and I now think it is time to set up a store. X-GEN Music is the result, I don't know what I will achieve with the store but I hope to make some friends and hopefully make a bit of money along the way. I also support independent artists and unsigned bands via my online radio station TSM Radio and give them much needed exposure. .
