Baconsdozen Imperial and Metric Tools used to supply the commercial trawlers and fishing boats based in Lowestofts harbour and the rest of the UK fishing boat fleet with foul weather clothing,knives and gloves but as the fishing fleets declined concentrated more on the mail order of tools.I now specialise in the older imperial measurement spanners,socket and other tools.We stock whitworth,BSF,BA and af for the classic car or motorbike enthusiast and also sell the more modern metric based tools for servicing and repair from our web site site baconsdozen .I ship tools anywhere in the world.

I've been involved in restoring and repairing cars,vans,motorbikes,boats and other machinery for around 40 years and I only sell tools that I'd be happy to use myself and guarantee all tools are of good usable quality.I have large stocks of tools from established,and in some cases long vanished English makers,I've been doing this too long to get away with selling rubbish.I don't sell cheap tools,I just sell tools cheaply.I spent my spare time messing about underneath an old Mercedes motorhome 307D and an even older (but at the moment less rusty) Mk1 Transit Motorhome.I then bought an old London black cab to restore and use as everyday transport.If you are restoring a classic english car or bike from a AJS or BSA to a Triumph or Velocette,or if you want sensibly priced repair or servicing equipment for more modern vehicles please have a look.
