Welcome to our "about me" page - we are Janice and Claire, two sisters from the pretty seaside town of Donaghadee, Northern Ireland.  We have recently set up our own website selling beads, beading supplies, handmade jewellery and handmade household items - find us at www.beadiva-online.com but we began our little business venture right here on e-bay!!

We started off in E-bay as most do by buying things, which has since progressed to selling items we no longer needed after a clear-out, and more recently to Selling items of jewellery which are handmade by us!!  All of our jewellery is handmade unless otherwise stated and made using high quality materials from a variety of sources.  Our website will show you other items from our range!!  We can also produce something to suit your individual requirements if you don't see anything suitable listed!

We are besotted with beads and we pride ourselves on providing a range of jewellery to suit all budgets and tastes, most of which will be one-off pieces!!  Alongside the jewellery we also sell other accessories such as handbags, purses, scarves and sometimes even clothing and shoes (depending on how often we have a clear-out!!).  More recently we have started selling beads too (it's a great excuse to keep buying them if nothing else!!) and if you are an avid beader and are looking for something in particular, just ask, we are always getting new stock in and it sometimes takes a while for us to get items listed.

Our jewellery is reasonably priced and posting and packaging costs are realistic and relatively low, we will never bump up p&p costs to make a profit as this is just not fair on buyers!!  We also like to re-use packing materials in an attempt at being more environmentally friendly - this also helps us to keep p&p costs low!!

We recently decided to make this hobby (well obsession!) into a part-time business and we aim for 100% customer satisfaction and so far have achieved this with 100% positive feedback from our customers, we recently received negative feedback from a seller, who charged excessive amounts in p&p (£2.50 to post 4 feathers and a piece of ribbon, actual cost 32p but we won't hold it against her!!), while this was annoying at the time, we're happy that it still shows that our customers believe in our products and are happy with them and our service - which is the main thing for us!! 

We describe things accurately and are always keen to hear customer feedback via e-mail. We are confident that any problems can be resolved quickly by e-mailing us and we will do all we can to help - please if you have a problem, ask us about it first rather than resort to leaving neutral or negative feedback, we do have a refund policy if everything goes horribly wrong!!

Why not add us to your list of favourite sellers and this way you can be kept up to date with the new items we add on a regular basis.  It's also a good way to make sure you are informed of any special offers we may run from time to time, and we promise we won't bombard you with lots of e-mails, we would normally only produce one or two a month (that's all we ever seem to have time for anyway!!).
