Please read before bidding or buying - if you are unsure of anything ask questions before bidding

PLEASE READ

PAYPAL - Some buyers pay with ECHEQUES which is fine however please be aware that paypal tell you the buyer that it takes 4 working days to clear WRONG it actually takes up to 11 days to clear into my paypal account. Once your payment has cleared my account I am notified and will inturn contact you and let you know the day of posting.

PLEASE do not leave bad feedback for this delay - I am not in control of clearing time for eCheques paypal are!

PLEASE NOTE payment by normal paypal clears immediately and your goods where possible are dispatched the next day.

UK POSTAGE

SPECIAL DELIVERY this method of postage is insured up to £500 additional insurance can be obtained up to £2,500 if required

RECORDED DELIVERY this is NOT insured post but can be tracked to its destination thats all.

There is a an insurance value up to £36 but this does NOT include valuables, jewellery etc

SPECIAL DELIVERY is therefore recommended for these items - this is to cover both of us in the event of a claim.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

All overseas postage is sent either International Signed For or Airsure - insurance is included in the postal price there is no extra to pay

PLEASE do not ask me to send items uninsured after you have bid and won the item - the insurance is for my benefit under the Paypal Seller Protection Policy.

If your package goes missing you claim your monies back immediately from paypal - I get nothing no item no money - so please if you do not agree with these terms do not bid.

RETURNS

In the unlikely event you need to return something please contact me in the first instance so that arrangements can be made for the return

Please note that the items I sell are antique or vintage have all had a previous life been around for many years and used! Whilst I describe condition to the best of my ability everyone has a different idea of condition. Please therefore study my pictures and ask questions before bidding.

I do not restore or clean items they come to you in their original condition

I do not service watches or mechanical items which are sold as seen - if you want new and unused then my items may not be for you.

Ebay are introducing a new system however they have not made it entirely clear to buyers how it works

Always educate your buyer that DSR of 4 and less is a poor rating - ebays own words!

Whilst emails are effective it is important to remember that not everyone will read the emails you send saying you would appreciate 5 star feedback

When leaving feedback if you hover over a star it tells you what it stands for

Number 4 star being Accurate Satisfied Quickly Reasonable

Number 5 star having the word VERY in front

I would respectfully ask buyers to leave me 5 stars on each level if you are happy with the transaction and service as this last star makes all the difference to the ratings we now get from ebay
