With a chance meeting with one of my parents friends in Japan, I was introduced to a business man who was a major Sony supplier!!
My little boy Tyler was playing with his Nintendo Famicom SP and the business man suddenly got out from his pocket a pre production PSP, My jaw dropped.
For you people who follow the PSP it was the early smooth/rounded press release model, did not actually worked but had the same weight and feel of the ones today
He said in true Harry Enfield style ‘You don’t want one of them, you want one of these!!’
I said to him that when released I wanted to import them into the UK to sell on ebay
It was with thanks to my parents friends that they twisted his arm (Yakuza style - joke!!) and he agreed to supply to me
He was apprehensive at first as he knew that Sony Japan would not like it so we did it under cover!!!
As from today 09.09.05 I have so far sold 70+ PSP’s on and off ebay and have managed to secure 50 Ceramic White ones from my supplier.
