WELCOME TO WELSH COIN DEALERS
We have been collecting for 45 years & trading for over 15 years. We are collectors ourselves & buy and sell with this in mind.
The business is run by Nigel Counsell BA, FCIS, DMA. assisted by his son Philip Counsell. It is small enough to keep costs to a minimum but, big enough to hold a wide range of interesting stock at any point in time.
We are always keen to buy suitable material for our auctions & are rarely beaten on buying prices. We will always consider part exchange offers provided the items offered are traded by us.

We exhibit at all the Cardiff (City Hall) fairs which are held about 6 times a year.
We are always happy to value coins for insurance, probate etc.
ITEMS WE TRADE & AUCTION DETAILS
1.Coins of all countries, types, & periods.
2.British medals of all periods, especially campaign medals & gallantry awards.
3.Banknotes, particularly of the U.K.
4.Postage stamps, especially G.B. We always need supplies of mint GB decimal stamps for postage.
5.All gold & silver items e.g watches, jewellery etc.
6.Medallions/Tokens etc.
PAYMENT can be sent by personal cheque, postal orders or cash. We are considering accepting payment by credit card or paypal but, the profit margin on coins is often very small, so we would have to charge an additional percentage to covers their fees.
AUCTIONS generally are added every wednesday & thursday to run for 10 days to finish on Saturday & Sundays.
We notify sucessful bidders a.s.a.p after the end of the second day's auctions.
OVERSEAS bidders should notify us immediately so we can quote shipping rates etc.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
