Passport: Back To The Bars is six nights of unprecedented gigs across
the UK. During the first week of March 2004, big artists will play
small shows in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and
York. Fans will get a chance to see their favourite artists up-close
and personal in the intimate environment of the Barfly venues.

The Darkness, Travis, David Gray, Atomic Kitten, Sugababes, Craig
David, Blazin Squad, Badly Drawn Boy, Starsailor, Ash, The Divine
Comedy, Amy Winehouse, Super Furry Animals, Lemar, Pet Shop Boys,
Supergrass, Katie Melua, Elbow, Spiritualized, Big Brovaz, Gary
Numan and The Cure will all be heading ack to the
Barsto perform live and exclusively for the winners of the nationwide
Passport competition.
Many of the participating acts have started out their careers at
Barfly venues and are now returning to their roots for two very worthy
causes Shelter and War Child. These shows will not only be a once
in a lifetime occasion for fans, but they will also generate very
significant sums of money by using a remarkable fundraising idea. For

No tickets are being sold for these gigs only competition winners
can get in, with just one exception: here on eBay, we are giving you
the opportunity to bid for the ONLY pairs of tickets for the shows
available for purchase.
Every five days between 1 February and 20 February, one pair of
tickets for each show will be auctioned online. The payments by
each winner, after deduction of eBay seller charges and VAT, will
be split 50/50 between Shelter and War Child.
Winning bidders will be entitled to entrance for two people to the
relevant gig. Tickets will be despatched to bid winners in the UK
by special delivery on receipt of payment in cleared funds we will
accept payment by cheque or PayPal.

If a winner does not make payment within 5 days after
the date of the auction we have the right to cancel the sale and offer the tickets to the next highest bidder, repeating if necessary
until the tickets have been purchased, subject to our minimum specified price

The tickets are not transferable and may not be re-sold through
eBay or by any other means; anyone found to be trying to sell their
tickets in this manner shall invalidate the tickets without right to refund.

Entry to the venue is subject to the normal terms and conditions
for that particular venue, which includes a right for the management
to refuse entrance or require persons present to leave the venues without refund regardless of whether they are hold a valid ticket if in the reasonable
opinion of the management those persons are causing a nuisance
to others or represent a health or safety risk to themselves or
anyone else.

No cameras or recording equipment will be permitted
in the venues. Such equipment may be confiscated for the duration
of the event and persons refusing to hand over such equipment will
be required to leave by security staff.

No-one under the age of 14 will be permitted entry. Anyone
under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult as the second
person on the ticket. Alcohol on sale during the events
may not be purchased or consumed by anyone under the age of
18.

The tickets cover entrance to the venue for two people only and in each case the ticket must be presented at the venue. Winners
will be liable for all additional expenditure incurred by them.

The price paid by winning bidders includes VAT if applicable. No
refunds will be given. In the event that any show does not take
place for any reason (including without limitation, inability of
the relevant artist to perform on the specified date, loss or suspension
of relevant public entertainment or liquor sale licences, damage
or destruction of venues or any force majeure), we will use our
reasonable endeavours to re-arrange a replacement event at a later
date where the relevant ticket will be valid. We will not be responsible
for any postponement or cancellation of any of the shows nor for
any inability to contact a prize winner nor for any inability on
any prize winner part to take up the prize.

Bidding is not restricted to UK residents, however tickets will only be sent to a valid UK address. Tickets will be sent by registered post, at the expense of the buyer of .

Payments must be made by Paypal or Cheque and must be in GBP. If paying by cheque, the cheque must be issued from a UK bank. Cheques are to be made out to: Barfly Club Ltd.

This is the entire agreement between you and us. This agreement shall be governed by English Law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?
The proceeds of the competition will go to War Child and Shelter.
Each charity will be given 50% of the funds raised. Both charities
have specified what the money will be used for. Shelter will support
direct initiatives for homeless families with children directly in
the towns where the gigs are staged. War Child will use the other
half to provide aid and education initiatives to children in Iraq
and The Democratic Republic of Congo.

Passport: Back To The Bars is a reminder for everyone. It makes us
aware of how easy it is to help. It is also a reminder for the music
industry, as it shows how big its influence can be, both locally
and in the wider world. But most importantly, Passport will demonstrate
