   A bit about me.

Chris Henry Perkins - British Numismatic Trade association member, professional numismatist, publisher, author, proprietor of predecimal.com and BBC 3 Counties radio broadcaster (currently without a regular programme!).

With a base in Germany I am also able to offer a large range of SAFE and Lighthouse collectors accessories at the best possible 'direct from the factory' prices.

Among my regular eBay auction listings you will see lots of printed books, mostly published by my Rotographic imprint (www.rotographic.com). I often offer coins for sale too, and also silver and gold bullion. Sometimes even the odd non coin related article.

"I am a professional coin dealer and publisher". I think being any kind of 'dealer' will no doubt, to some people at least, put me in the slightly suspiciously ruthless category, possibly even more negative than that. The same kind of brush used to tar estate agents, solicitors, second hand car salesmen and MP's (possibly with individual exceptions)! But that's simply just silly. I openly admit that I make my living out of coins and books. I'm not ashamed of it, I'm not a 'we' either, like a lot of individuals claim to be on eBay. It's just me, Chris Perkins!

I pride myself on my grading, and I do genuinely believe it to be quite accurate too, I honestly can't remember the last time a coin was returned for reasons of inaccurate grading. There is more rubbish grading on eBay than you could find anywhere else in the world, in fact a lot of it really is beyond words. With my proven track record you should be ok where buying coins is concerned. I'm also currently working on publishing "The Standard Guide to Grading British Coins" which will hopefully do some damage to the sellers that don't seem to be able to do it properly! 

I would only treat my customers as I would expect to be treated, and I always offer a no quibble returns policy (except for non coin things). When I buy coins, I always offer a fair price based on the demand, effort and time involved in selling them.
