Classic Ham Radio Terms and Conditions for all auctions
By bidding on our items you are deemed to have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions
We will not end auctions early so please do not ask.
There is no ‘buy it now’ price unless the item is listed with one.
Item description:-
All items are described as accurately as possible with as many pictures as are required for you to see exactly what you are bidding on. If you have any questions please ask before bidding as all auctions are final and no refunds will be given.
Vintage electrical items are sold as described with NO GUARANTEES given or implied. As most are well beyond their original intended life it is the responsibly of the buyer to check or have checked by a qualified electrician the electrical condition of the item before applying mains power. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to persons or property for any reason.
Payment:-
A paypal account is required to place a bid on any auction however we will accept payment by the following methods in GBP only:-
Paypal
Bank transfer (buyer must pay all bank fees to ensure that the total auction value appears in our bank)
Cheques in GBP only, must be drawn on a UK bank.
For items collected in person they must be paid for in cash on collection NO paypal or cheques for collections.
All overseas buyers must be able to pay with paypal or by direct bank transfer in GBP if you cannot pay by these methods contact us first before bidding.
If you are the successful bidder, we must receive payment within 7 days. If not we will re-list the item.
Bidder requirements:-
A paypal account is required to bid.
No bids accepted from bidders with a feedback rating of less than 3 positives without sending verifiable contact details before bidding, or the bids will be removed. Negative feedback will be left for non payers and they will be blocked from future bidding.
Postage and packing charges:-
All UK postage and handling charges are always stated in all auctions these are non negotiable. Where possible we will combine postage for multiple purchases of auctions ending on the same day.
Overseas buyers contact us first before bidding to obtain a postage cost.
Shipment of items:-
Goods will only be posted on clearance of funds, this may take up to 10 days for cheque or overseas bank transfers.
All small items in the UK are sent by recorded delivery and will require a signature.
Insurance is optional for UK buyers but we will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of items, so to protect your purchase we recommend you take the optional insurance. Overseas buyers must take insurance as we will not accept responsibility for loss or damage in the hands of the postal services.
Standard insurance included with UK postage is only £28 GBP
Collection in person:-
Collection of items is normally not a problem. Please email after the auction has ended to arrange to collect. Payment is required in cash for ALL collections. Items must be collected within 14 days of the end of the auction.
Collection by your own courier:-
You can arrange collection of your item by your own courier however the item will still be subject to a packing charge unless your courier will pack for you on collection. You will have to arrange a suitable date and time for collection with us we will only stay in once for the collection. If they fail to turn up on time you will have to pay us to ship it for you NO second chance collections.
