we are currently looking for a long-ish term work experience person who is interrested in seeing behind the scenes of a small alternative fashion company... the position will involve handling stock, working with computers, possibly dealing with customers and helping out generally. you may even get to make tea if you're lucky! it will be a paid work experience (amount tbc) + discount on clothing! we are ideally looking for someone to come in for a minimum of 6 months .
if you are interested you need to be in london/herts area as we are based in hemel hempstead but are willing to pay towards travel if necessary. we don't mind if you are male or female but would like you to have an interest in the clothing and/or the lifestyle we represent!

we are a small alternative clothing & accessories company inspired by all things, punk, 50's, psycho, emo, rockabilly...

collectif been dressing delicious dolls for around 4 years now... back when it all began the awesome susanna ran the design for around 2 years, focusing on pirate and punk themes. after about a year claudia came on board, part time as she was still at college. they worked together on a more 50's inspired range while still maintaining a punk rock influence. this punkabilly edge was to become our signature style! after a year or so of hard slog and parties susanna sadly moved back to amsterdam leaving claudia to focus full time on tattoo inspired textiles and sassy styles! not long after we launched our sister range of alternative casual wear - guilty clothing - designed to complement the collectif range of dressier styles.
you can now find all our ranges all over the place! we sell to shops all over the world - with lines available in europe, canada, america, australia and new zealand! we also sell direct in our shop in camden and online at www.collectif.co.uk where both our collectif clothing & guilty clothing ranges can be found. we're a small company and we try to do as much as we can ourselves - can't escape those do-it-yourself punk roots! we design our textiles & clothes, produce the collections, photograph, model, promote, wholesale & retail everything ourselves - now all you have to do is wear it with attitude!
our collections are influenced by Twisted Dolly's, Kitsch Kids, Punkabilly Hero's and Heroines, tattoos and oh-so much more. we launch at least 2 collections a year and add all the time. we have short attention spans......we're always looking for new ideas so if you're after something you just can't find - let us know and we'll see what we can do.
