Lots of customers asked...what made you start eBay?? here goes.

 . . . . . Pull up a chair and prepare to fall alseep or alternatively just scroll down to the address you were looking for in the first place and don't be so nosey! .

 in a nutshell (admittedly more of a coconut than an almond shell) ....how Crackerjaqui started .

After 20+ years of me, a proper "Yorkshire lass" being a qualified nurse & hubby a "cloggy" Scientist (Hence the strange surname)

then came:-

10 years of fostering 50+ adults & children with severe disabilites .

This part of our lives included over 5 years of my being a counsellor & hypnotherapist (ok ok, none of the "around the eyes, look into the eyes" & the "will you make me cluck like a chicken?" jokes)

 Retirement was a natural progression...but HOW would we retire??? . . . . 

I didn't want to totally give up my hypnotherapy & counselling but yes..we should take it a little easy perhaps?

Ah well...just 'wait and see' as my old gran always said 'it'll all come out in the wash"

Initially eBay was just a little 'light entertainment' hmmm, I think I could maybe sell that pair of jeans I never wore?'....

and now....well addiction has many forms...eBay is just a really sneaky one!

Have a look at how many listings we have and you'll have some idea of how our business has grown, rather than 'light entertainment ' it's a full time production the proportions of which would put Ben Hurr to shame!!!

Our aim is to make sure customers have a lovely experience of shopping on eBay.How sick are you of the attitude of a lot of shops and businesses nowadays? We hope to be an 'old fashioned' way of shopping, where the customer IS important and valued..

. . . . . . . . . . ......................... but if you think that is easy, just you wait and see when we get our "what the customer wrote" section.

You won't believe your eyes when you take a look at some of the scams, insults and rudeness. On the other hand get a tissue ready for a real laugh at some of the more comedic abilities of some of our customers.
