Hi my name is Sam,  Due to my disabilities i cannot get out much to shop and find ebay a great way of buying and also to sell the odd item when my wardrobe gets too full or i have too much "hoarding" around the house. My friends and family also donate items for me to sell to help with my fund. In January 2007 i had to have my left leg amputated, so Ebay is a must for me as its sooooooooo easy and a great way to shop.

All the items i do sell, i save the money from them as i am hoping one day soon to be able to buy a private artifical limb, at the moment i cannot tolerate a limb and i need to go back into hospital for some revision surgery as i have some complications and i am confined to my wheelchair, Please take time to have a look at my items for sale and grab yourself a bargain!!!! Just thought i would give an up date..........What fantastic people i have met since i have been starting to sell items for my fund! Ebayers who have bought items from myself and have been and collected the item they have won, a few have been so kind enough to donate items to me themselves! I really am so grateful for all the donations i have received................Thank you to all who have helped me. Another big thank you goes to my mum.........without her help i would be lost. Also my daughter with all her help with the posting.

As of Monday 10th September i will be in hospital having my revision surgery, so unfortunatley i will not be listing any items for a few weeks. Any buyers that have won items from me up to 9th September, will all get there items as soon as they are paid for as my Ebay is being managed while i go into hospital. Many thanks again to all those who have helped me and to all the buyers that have left me encouraging and thoughtfull feedback. As soon as i am out of hospital i will post a note to let everyone know how i got on.......................and then i will be back listing again.

After my revision surgery in Sept 2007, i have made a slow recovery. I went back to physio in the 2nd week in January and at long last had the cast taken to make my NHS limb. I go back to the limb centre on 21st January where i will go for a fitting of the limb, although i still have a long long way to go, i am at last hopefully on the way to try and learn to walk again. Once i am up and walking and hopefully raised enough for my private limb, i will be of to Dorset to get my other limb made, the private limbs are a lot more comfortable than the NHS ones. The cost of the limb is going to be round about £6,000. I am really hope to achieve this goal by the middle of 2009. It really gives me a boost selling on Ebay as i know each time i am getting nearer to my target! Thanks once again to all those ebayers out there who have sent me lovely messages of support and for buying an item from me, it is so much appreciated! After much trying to tolerate the limb, unfortunatley after many infections and hypersensitivity i have for now been advised that i probably will not be able to walk on the limb, so the money i have so far raised towards the limb i have decided to put this money to one side and hopefully in the future i will be able to buy a limb.

I decided to return to work last year but i over did it and ended up having a nervous breakdown, i have now picked myself back up again and i am now going to try and turn my hobby into a "cottage industry". I have decided to sell my die cuts and card toppers on ebay as my part time job. I do find it hard to cope at times with my disability so my community physciatrict nurse has helped me to get back on track and try and start my little empire! Fingers crossed it takes off~~~~~~~ Watch this space!!!
