We at www.DaaVeeDee.com specialize in selling arthouse, foreign, independent, rare, unusual, classy and yes, plain weird DVDs, most of which have not been released in USA, or are out of print there. Most of the movies we sell are the ones that we like to watch ourselves, from our favorite directors, with our favorite actors, etc.. Most of our movies have either been nominated or won at the prestigious international film festivals, such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Moscow, Montreal, Madrid, etc.. We try not to sell Hollywood blockbusters and other crowd-pleasing junk, although in some instances we do make exceptions...

Here is what sets us apart from the competition:
Very Fast Shipping: When we say we ship fast, we do - we ship three times a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings (8am). If one of these days comes to be a US holiday, we'll ship the next business day, so you are guaranteed that your DVD is mailed to you either within 1 or 2 business day after your payment is received/cleared.
Friendly communications: We respond to all questions within 24 hours by email. Please DO NOT call - we have very hectic schedules with kids and all that, so email works the best. We also ALWAYS send an email once your DVD ships.
Carefull packing: We try to package the DVDs in the safest manner. Single DVDs are send in a bubble envelope, and sealed with the shipping label - you will see what we mean by that when your DVD arrives (I think we are unique in this method in shipping). Up to three DVDs are sent in a larger bubble envelope. More than three DVDs are generally sent in a cardboard box, carefully filled with the bubble filler.
Great Selection: We work hard to bring the rare, unusual, classy, arthouse and weird films on DVD from the world over to you. We generally do not sell Hollywood blockbusters, with very few exceptions.
Reasonable pricing: The majority of the DVDs we sell fall within $15 to $25 price range. There are some priced lower and higher, but in general our policy is not to sell DVDs above $30. We wouldn't buy the DVD for more than $30 for ourselves :-).

Please note - most of our DVDs are PAL, Region 2 (Europe) or Region 4 (Australia) DVDs. Some used DVDs that we sell are NTSC, Region 1 (North America) DVDs. Please make sure you know what you are buying - we specify DVD formats for each listing, and we do not enjoy people having problems because they did not read the description. If you are not sure if your DVD player is able to play it, please don't buy the DVD. If you do not understand the concepts of PAL/NTSC and Regions, do not buy either. We are not a Walmart, but a relatively small operation, so we DO NOT accept refunds due to the DVD player's incompatibility.
