i started hand-painting t-shirts in 2004 with my accomplice star-k. she's the real brains behind the operation but i was the one with an ebay account, so i get to pretend it was all my idea...
music and t-shirts go hand in hand and what we were listening to inspired early designs (johnny rotten, kurt cobain), but we also wanted to touch on other things; horses, angels, wings, art, politics... and back to music again. we also tried to mix up styles and techniques: if someone says "stencil", you can't help thinking of banksy - we love him but we couldn't even try to copy him so we refer to mucha, william morris, jake tilson aswell. there's punk rock's it was easy, it was cheap, go and do it and there's weeks spent trying to get something just how we want it.

what started as a creative antidote to the soul-destroying drudgery of our 9 to 5 existence became much more important to us... we've even moved out of sunny croydon, back to cornwall where we can hear the roar of surf not the grumble of traffic, and we're almost professional about this whole t-shirt thing.
