Cameras & Old Technology

    Hi, I offer useable and collectable photographic items and the occasional "old technology" item. I try to describe all items honestly, so please buy with confidence. I do NOT ignore emails even if there is a problem with something , but please give me time to respond. I am a collector to so understand the desire to aquire.

  • Listings, I try to give honest descriptions with a good number of photograhs, all are of the actual item NO STOCK PHOTOS, I try to use more pictures than most sellers, so the buyer can judge the item.
  • SHIPPING, most items are shipped within 1 working day of cleared payment, items will not be shipped before cleared funds.

 

  • Problems, Everyone makes the odd mistake, I try to correct them so the buyer does not lose out. My plain English return policy is in every listing, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SOMETHING FROM ME , SEND ME A MAIL AND I WILL RESPOND. DO NOT ATTEMPT A REPAIR OR TAKE ITEM APART AS THIS WILL NULL MY RETURN POLICY. PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE TO RESOLVE BEFORE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

 

  • SHIPPING, My packaging is good. I mainly use new boxes with plenty of bubble-wrap etc. It is expensive but there is no point in getting your purchase damaged in transit. I do pass this cost on to buyers but I try to keep these costs reasonable, I do not overcharge or profit from shipping overall, you pay for materials not my time.

 

  • SHIPPING DISCOUNTS I do give good discounts on multi buys where I can. The discount varies but will ALLWAYS be cheaper than individual shipping prices. If overseas and the package weight is under 2kgs I use Royal Mail "small packets signed for". For larger items or multiple buys then I use a courrier service and will need to quote on an individual basis.

 

  • INSURANCE, All packages are insured up to the value of £36.00. Higher value packages may require extra insurance which will cost more. It is a condition of PAYPAL that items are insured and tracked, note this is not always possible to some countries. If you do not wish to pay for extra insurance I require that you send a notification waiving your rights regarding claims that have been lost in transit. For insurance to be effective you must use a confirmed address .
