Payments I prefer paypal payments but do sometimes accept cheques in Pounds Sterling from UK banks (items are sent once funds are cleared so please allow 5 working days from banking) PLEASE SEE EACH LISTING FOR DETAILS AS CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON CERTAIN LISTINGS.
Please do not send me a cheque then email me 5 days later asking where your item is, I need time to bank your cheque, wait for it to clear and get to the post office. (I will usually email you to let you know when it is sent so you can look out for it arriving)
Payment by cheque – please let me know you are intending to send a cheque by clicking the “Pay now” button and selecting “pay by cheque.”
You are bidding to buy so once the auction has closed you will be committed to purchasing the item, i will report non paying bidders, Please do not bid of you do not intend to pay. Please make contact within 3 days of the action ending and pay within 7 days of the auction ending unless a prior agreement has been made. (email me if you have a problem, I may be able to help)
Shipping Costs (P&P)
I visit the bank and/or Post office 2/3 times a week depending on work commitments – usually Mondays / Tuesdays and sometimes Saturdays.
I always try to keep postage costs to a minimum, I do not make a profit on postage, however I weigh items on household scales and everything is weighed before I wrap it so it's not completely accurate but it's often me who's out of pocket. I use recycled packaging where possible.
(If you are unwilling to pay my postage costs please do not bid)
The feedback star system - I do NOT offer next day delivery so please do not give me a poor star rating for delivery time - especially if you have paid by cheque, please consider the time it takes me to bank the cheque etc given that I can only get to the Post Office and Bank twice a week - Thank you.
I ALWAYS package securely to ensure safe delivery and parcels are label clearly, a receipt of posting is always obtained. I cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged parcels once in the hands of the royal mail. However if a problem should arise I am happy to help in any way I can, please contact me straight away.
Questions I always answer any questions that are sent to me. Please ask any questions as early as possible in case for some reason I am unable to provide an immediate reply. I occasionally list items for friends so in these auctions I will need time to contact them for the answer to the question before replying.
Feedback I always make a point of leaving feedback, and hope to receive positive feedback too. If for any reason you are not happy please email prior to leaving neutral or negative feedback so we can try to resolve the problem. At the time of writing this I have a 100% positive feedback rating, please bid with confidence.
