When you start using a bagged vacuum cleaner, the bag’s pores clog with dust causing suction to drop. Some bagless vacuums are just as bad. Their technology doesn’t capture the dirt as efficiently as a Dyson vacuum, so they end up relying on filters. Just like bags, they clog, causing suction to fade. A Dyson doesn’t rely on bags or filters to capture the dust. These are machines that we no longer make. All end of line upright and cylinder vacuum cleaners come complete with a five year guarantee and the DC16 handheld comes with a two year guarantee as you’d get if you purchased a new Dyson vacuum cleaner in a shop or from www.dyson.co.uk


This is a machine that has had minimal use, either for demonstration or display purposes or on the rare occasion when someone has changed their mind and returned their machine to us after slight use. We have a committed team of Dyson engineers who strip, clean, rebuild and test all cleaners thoroughly, restoring them to a ‘nearly new’ standard. We are so pleased with the quality of these machines we’ve decided to make them available to you.

All refurbished upright and cylinder cleaners come complete with a two year guarantee and the DC16 handheld a one year guarantee. All refurbished products are supplied in a brown box.

Please ensure you keep your receipt which is attached to the box and we encourage you to register your product on our website www.dyson.co.uk/register. Payment is only accepted through Paypal and due to the demand for our machines we require instant payment.

If you have any particular requirements please make sure these are listed in the special instructions field in the Paypal checkout screen.


Once your payment has been received we will process your order within 48 hours. We courier all orders between Monday and Friday and aim to deliver your item within 3-7 working days.


If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, simply call our Ask Dyson experts on 0800 954 0150, 7 days a week, from 7am – 10pm, or email us at ebayteam@dyson.co.uk, within 14 days of receipt. If we are unable to resolve your query over the phone or via email, we will arrange to collect the product and process a refund for you. Please note, unless the product is faulty, the cost of the return will be deducted from your refund. Upon receipt, the product will be inspected and a refund will be processed within 30 working days. If the product is found to be in an unreasonable condition, we reserve the right not to accept it.

Terms and conditions of the guarantee

• The guarantee becomes effective at the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this is later).
• You must provide proof of delivery/purchase before any work can be carried out on your machine. Without this proof, any work carried out will be chargeable. Please keep your receipt or delivery note.
• All work will be carried out by Dyson or its authorised agents.
• The repair or replacement of your machine under guarantee will not extend the period of guarantee.
• The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

What is covered:

• The repair or replacement of your machine (at Dyson's discretion), if your machine is found to be defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within 1 / 2 / 5 years of purchase (if a part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Dyson will replace with a functional replacement part).
• Use of the machine in the UK.

What is not covered:

Dyson does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a product as a result of:

• Normal wear and tear (e.g. Fuse, belt, brushbar, batteries, etc).
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the machine which is not in accordance with Dyson's User Guide.
• Blockages - please refer to the User Guide for details of how to unblock your machine.
• Use of the machine for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.
• Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson.
• Use of parts and accessories which are not Dyson Genuine Components.
• Faulty installation (except installed by Dyson).
• Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Dyson or its authorised agents.

Q- How long will it take for you to deliver my machine?
A: We aim to deliver your Dyson vacuum cleaner within 3-7 working days of receipt of your payment.

Q- Can I get my machine delivered out of hours or at weekends?
A: Currently our courier service offers deliveries Monday to Friday and we are unable to specify a delivery time. However, we are able to change the delivery address on request.

Q- Why are these machines cheaper than normal?
A: All machines sold through the Dyson eBay store are refurbished or end of line cleaners and are supplied with a full manufacturer’s guarantee. All of our refurbished products have been fully tested.

Q- I have seen a specific Dyson cleaner that is not listed in your store, why is this?
A: Our listings are determined by stock availability; therefore our complete range may not always be available. Please check our eBay store often as our listings are updated regularly. To receive regular updates on our latest stock please add us as a favourite seller and you will receive emails when new listings are posted.

Q- Do I get a guarantee with my purchase?
A: Yes, our end of line stock is supplied with a five-year guarantee for uprights and cylinders and two-year guarantee for the Dyson handhelds. Our refurbished stock will come supplied with a two-year guarantee for uprights and cylinders and a one-year guarantee for handhelds.
