The majority of our products are listed as 99p no reserve, all Graded Buy it now items are listed at an average of 50% off High Street prices. We want you to be happy with your purchase. Postage
All auctions have Royal Mail Second Class Recorded Delivery or Next Day Delivery as postage options, Orders are sent by either Royal Mail or our selected courier according to the size and weight of the package, we prefer to use Royal Mail Second Class or a 2-3 Day Courier service to keep postage costs as low as possible. We offer discounts if you purchase multiple items at the same time. All orders are dispatched within 48 - 72 hours and delivery of goods is normally 3-5 working days from receiving payment. All Postage prices stated on the Auction are for mainland England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding Highlands and Islands. There is an extra charge for delivery to Highlands and Islands, please Email us for details as the charges very per product's.
Graded Products
Brand new products are what you would expect when purchasing from a high street retailer, unlike certain other sellers, we do not sell Graded products as brand new, all graded items are clearly highlighted in the auctions. Graded items can be
* End of Line / Discontinued Products
* Clearance (Goods which are removed from the mail order companies warehouse to make way for either new lines or updated models)
* Undelivered Mail order
* Cosmetically Marked
* Damaged Boxes
* Unwanted Gifts
* Missing Accessories
* Minor Faults
* Factory Graded or Factory Seconds
The majority of our graded products mainly have damaged boxes or slight cosmetic marks, most of our graded products are Factory graded and therefore have been electrically checked, tested, repaired and completed, these products are sold as guaranteed perfectly working items that may have slight cosmetic marks.
Warranty Information
All New Products come with a Standard 12 Months Manufacturers Warranty (All Products are New unless stated). Graded products can be returned within 14 days of the date of despatch provided they are in the condition in which they arrived in. We do not offer any warranty beyond 14 days (From Date of Dispatch) for Graded products, Certain A Grade products will come with a manufacturers warranty.
I prefer to deal within the UK, but will post worldwide, as long as you acknowledge that you are liable for any tax, duties or any other kind of incurred charge, that may be applicable to the item. Also in most cases any warranty provided will be void. I will happily check an items functionality before sending on request.
If an item is faulty, simply email me with all the details:
1. Auction Username, Auction Site, Date Purchased, Product Details, Details of Defect (please give as much detail as possible as this will speed up the turn around of your item)
2. If it appears to me from the information provided, that the alleged defect is covered by The Manufacturer's warranty (Or in Case of Graded Products our suppliers warranty), I will Send details of how to proceed with Returning the product.
3. Products should not be returned to us without prior authorisation
4. Goods must be returned to me carriage paid with their original packaging and, where applicable, all related manuals and accessories, as well as a completed copy of the Returns form (We will pay to send a replacement, however please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs to EcksTronics)
5. PLEASE NOTE: TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REPLACEMENT/REFUND GOODS MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING RETURN DETAILS, If this is not possible for whatever reason, please email us in advance, failure to do so will result on the returns being rejected.
6. Please obtain proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
If Item Is Returned within 10 Days of Receipt (14 Days from Date of Dispatch):
1. On receipt, the item will be tested and we will only proceed if there is a defect, the item will then be forwarded to the relevant supplier.
2. If we do not detect any Physical Damage and our Supplier does, The Buyer will be responsible for any handling charges passed on to us. (i.e. If an Electrical item has been Water damaged, we may not detect that, but our suppliers will, please only return items which are genuinely faulty and not damaged).
3. Once our supplier verifies that the product is faulty, we will send a replacement.
4. Refunds (Auction or Purchase Price Only) are made only if a replacement (or equivalent) is not available. (Cost of postage non-refundable - if an item is not returned in original packaging an appropriate amount will be deducted from the refund).
5. We reserve the right to levy a £10 or 10% restocking fee (whichever is larger), on returned goods which are found to be non faulty or correctly advertised but rejected by the customer.
NB: Once the 14 day period has expired, We will be responsible for Warranted products for the first 30 days starting from the date of dispatch. Beyond that period it is the manufacturers responsibility. please contact the manufacturer's support service directly, the majority of products we sell are recognised brands, where a product is OEM or not a recognised brand (i.e. not likely to have a UK support service) please follow the instructions below:
If Item Is Returned is later then 14 Days but within the Warranty Period of the Product:
(BRAND NEW PRODUCTS ONLY, DOES NOT APPLY TO GRADED PRODUCTS)
1. On receipt, the item will be tested and we will only proceed if there is a defect, the item will then be forwarded to the relevant supplier.
2. Physically damaged items will be rejected.
3. If we do not detect any Physical Damage and our Supplier does, The Buyer will be responsible for any handling charges passed on to us. (i.e. If an Electrical item has been Water damaged, we may not detect that, but our suppliers will, please only return items which are genuinely faulty and not damaged).
4. Customers are responsible for return delivery charges of non-faulty or physically damaged items.
5. Goods found not to be faulty may incur an additional testing fee/handling charge as well as postage charges.
6. Once our supplier verifies that the product is faulty, we will send a replacement (Items may be replaced with equivalents if originals are not available). We do not issue refunds unless the supplier issues a refund, this will only occur if the supplier no longer stocks the product or equivalent. Please note This can take between 21 - 30 Days.
Damaged in Transit
If an item is damaged on arrival, please notify us
WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt.
1. Auction Username, Auction Site, Details of Damage (please give as much detail as possible as this will speed up the turn around of your item), Please also provide a contact telephone number this will be forwarded to the courier.
2. If it appears to me from the information provided that the product has been damaged in transit, I will file a claim with the courier, you will need to repack the product in the original packaging, as the courier may collect the package to examine.
3. Damage claims are normally settled within 10 days but please allow up to 30 days, Once the courier confirms settlement of claim, we will contact you with details.
4. We will only replace items which have been damaged in Transit, we will not entertain any claims for items which have been damaged by hand.

PLEASE NOTE: WE NEED TO FORWARD ANY DAMAGE CLAIMS TO THE COURIER WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM DATE OF DISPATCH, IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT US WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE PRODUCT THEN ANY CLAIMS RECEIVED AFTER THIS PERIOD WILL BE REJECTED.

* If you have any questions regarding our products or the process of an auction, feel free to Email us before you place a bid. Only place a bid when you can ensure, that the item you are bidding for is the product you definitely want to purchase.
Wining Bidders:
* Please ensure you provide a contact telephone number, this is passed on to our courier who may need to contact you if there is a problem with delivery.
* Please ensure you have provided the correct address when completing eBay checkout, as we use eBay's Selling Manager for dispatch paperwork and your order will be dispatched to the address provided (If the address is incorrect, you have an option to change it before completing checkout).
* We work Monday to Friday on a 9am-5pm basis. We will endeavour to answer your email as promptly as possible, but we would ask that you allow 48 hours (Excluding Bank Holidays and Weekends) for a reply to your email. Repetitive and/or abusive emails will be treated as spam and ignored.
Feedback:
* Please post feedback once you have received your order and we will reciprocate on receipt
* If there is a problem with your order, please do not post adverse feedback as most problems can be rectified by emailing us, We will always respond to all customers e-mails, during working hours (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm).
* If adverse feedback is left before any contact is made, we will consider the matter closed and not take any action to rectify the problem.
If in the unlikely event We have made a mistake, please
email us and we will try to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
We make sure that all the information we provide is up to date and accurate as possible, but 'EcksTronics' can't be held responsible for the manufacturer changing it's specifications from those in the Auctions.
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
