All UK items are sent by Royal Mail First Class or Royal Mail Signed For (Recorded Delivery). It is the buyers responsibility to collect the item from the post office if they are not at home to sign for it - postage will not be refunded if the item is returned because it has not been collected. Select the Signed For option if you require tracking of the item and compensation up to £36 should the item get lost or damaged. International items are sent by Royal Mail Airmail. Signed For Recorded Delivery for international items is optional and offers compensation of up to £36. I cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items sent without Signed For / Recorded delivery. Please contact me before paying if you require additional compensation for any item.
In the very rare event of a damaged item, please contact me, then return it to me in the original packaging. Signed For Recorded items are insured for a value of up to £36. Postage costs are non-refundable as this is an out-of-pocket cost. International items sent non-recorded are sent at the buyers own risk!

MAY 2009 UPDATE:I have moved much of the vintage wear to my new on-line shop, Mimi's Menagerie, at http://mimismenagerie.etsy.com. These are all items that have been mine or in my family, so you can purchase with confidence. I will still occasionally be listing vintage items here on E-bay. Please note that all the items are vintage, mostly from the 40's, 50's, 60's and early 70's. Sizing on vintage items tend to run small (particularly the 40's and 50's items), so e-mail with any questions and I will try to answer as accurately as possible and provide measurements. Due to the delicate nature of some of the items, I have not washed or dry-cleaned some of the items (unless otherwise indicated), but I know my Mother packed everything away clean! She hoardes clothing like I do records, and everything was packed in boxes, labelled and dated. I would recommend cleaning by very careful handwashing or dry cleaning by a cleaner that specializes in vintage clothing. I will also continue to list my records, so keep checking back for more items! Thank you for looking at my auction.
I am still in the never-ending process of (reluctantly)clearing out some of my record collection (and some books/videos/dvds/and clothes) - quite simply, I am out of room! One week I may be selling house or techno, the next week it could be indie or rock. I went through a lot of "phases", but unfortunately they have all lasted. I believe there is great music in every genre, and I have bought and played it all. All of the records have been kept upright in clean, dry storage. Every record that I am selling is in 'very good' to 'mint' condition. If I've played it to death, I'll never part with it!
Records are graded according to the Record Collector Grading System:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
