I live far far far away from the nearest Post Office. Even so I try to get your items posted quick as possible and I do not include mileage in with p&p charges. If at all possible I combine multi-purchase in postal charges.
In Photos I try to achieve an overall general impression of the item. On multi-coloured items it can be difficult as getting one colour exact can often dull or differ another. Colours also vary on different computers. I describe the colours in the item description. Please remember that the photo is a representation.
If you are unhappy with the colour please return the (unused) yarn for a refund
Need more?
Let me know and I'll dye more skeins the colourway you like

I still have small amount of our Home-grown yarns available and if you would like some please contact me

Im always on the look out for other quality natural fibre yarns and fleeces preferably from U.K breeders and small suppliers.
I try to stick with types of yarn from specific breeds animals that I have had in the past or still have now. When you hand shear your own animals for years, and work further with the fibre you learn alot about it.
I have learned and aim for what would be a joy to work with for hours and hours at your choosen craft
I look for that for you and try to pass on good prices so everyone can enjoy working with natural fibre yarns
I have been running my yarn/croft business since the early eighties. I hand shear as well as care for my own animals personally. They come when I call them and follow me around!
Most of my fleeces are sent to small woollen mills to be spun to my specifications and sent back to me. Some I sell on as is and much of it I dye using my owns tecniques developed through the years. Mostly rainbow, variagated and random dyed and handpainted, often a mixture of techniques at one time
Some helpfull hints
Its possible to use larger needles with the mohair yarns, say 4mm to 6mm as it fluffs out as you knit
For a more even effect when knitting with variagated dyed yarn try making one ball each from two or three different skeins. Knit one or two rows from each ball
Not enough of the colour you want? Let me know, I can dye more for you and usually get fairly close to a good match.
If you dont like it return for a full item refund!
