I am Emma and I am Emsgems!

I am a stay at home Mum with 2 young boys.  I have made jewellery for over 20 years ( I started at a very early age to fund horse riding lessons!) and love to make items that are unique and stylish.  I decided to start selling on Ebay because of my love for jewellery and beads.  I wanted people to have access to gorgeous beads, gemstones and findings with which to make affordable and original designs.  For example I love to use semi precious gemstones mixed with Czech firepolished glass   - the possibilites for design are endless and always stunning.  Ebay has also enabled me to stay at home and look after my wonderful boys.

Payment

I prefer Paypal.  I pride myself on the speed with which I send your items.  I feel it is important to get your items quickly so you can put your imagination into gear!  I will also accept cheques but I do wait for them to clear as my fingers have been burnt in the past - sorry. You can also send postal orders and unused new UK postage stamps but you might be better sending them via recorded delivery to ensure they arrive safely.  Please pay for your purchases within 7 days.

International customers must pay via Paypal in GBP (£) - Sorry but I do not accept any other method.

Postage Costs & Combining

It is OK to combine your auction and store buys for up to 7 days.  Please contact me to let me know you have finished buying so I can send you an invoice to save you money. P&P for the UK only is £1.00 for the first item and 10p per each additional item  So for example if you bought 3 items then the postage charge would be £1.20.  Even though the Royal Mail have put up their prices twice in recent months which has in some cases tripled my costs, I have not increased mine.  Some strings of beads and bead mixes I send cost me £1.45 for just the postage without any packaging and I only charge £1.00 for the first item.  Also if Ebays invoice combining is not working which happens occaisionally, I will refund when incorrect.  I also refund if I feel you have overpaid when buying small charms and pendants etc. I like to think I am being incredibly fair to my buyers by doing this.

 International customers please email me first for postage and packaging costs first.  Should you wish to pay for recorded delivery that is fine. 

Please note I cannot be held responsible for the Royal Mail losing any items in transit if you have not purchased insurance. Should you wish to pay for recorded delivery that is fine.  The Royal Mail state it can take up to 15 working days to deliver an item of first class post.  As per the listing this is not my responsibility but I will always assist with claims, refunds, replacements when necessary. Please contact me after 15 working days if you have not received your items so I can sort something out for you.

Questions & Communication

I always answer any questions very promptly.  If you think you have not received an answer from me, please check your spamkiller files as sometimes I find your questions in mine! Please also check the Ebay message system.  If you need to contact me please do at emat@tesco.net. 

You will also receive emails after purchasing an item, when you have paid and when the item has been sent. 

Feedback

Positive feedback is very important to me and I have a 100% record.  I am an honest Ebayer and like to think that I have described my items well though I am sure you can appreciate some items do vary slightly as they are natural products.  In the highly unlikely event that you have any problems - please contact me through the ebay message system or at emat@tesco.net and I will do my best to sort them out.  I like to read your feedback - I do read them all - so please leave positive feedback even if its only a word or two! In turn I will always do the same for you.  Please remember that if an item is lost in the post it is not because of me, and I will help to sort it out! On the other side I will leave negative feedback to bidders/buyers who waste mine and other bidders time by not paying for their item when they have made no effort to answer any reminders or emails.  If you should have a payment problem and not want to complete the sale - please contact me in good time to sort it out.

Returns

Items returned will be refunded less the postage amount providing they are receivied in the same condition that they were sent to you.  Bead mixes must be unopened and strings must be complete.

A lot of the images used are from my picture library.  In the case of gemstone beads and pendants the image may vary as the products are natural and everyone is unique.
