Here at Etiko we are working hard to bring fair trade to the wider world by sourcing fair trade bags and accessories that are stylish and high quality, and selling them as cheaply as possible (whilst making a small profit!)
To do this we work with a small number of respected fair trade importers and carefully select the right products at the right price for our customers. All of our suppliers are registered with the British Association for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS), so you can be sure that all the goods we sell conform to recognised fair trade standards.
As a fair trade company it is important to us that we run our own business in an ethical manner. We always try to treat our customers and suppliers with honesty and respect, and as a result it seems that most people want do business with us again! We are proud that Etiko Fair Trade has been approved as a member of Ethical Junction.
In addition, as a growing business we are very aware of the responsibility we have to minimise our impact on the environment, for example the mailing sacks used by Etiko are made from biodegradable polythene film, and we only ever use recycled paper.
Etiko Fair Trade is initially focussed on building a wide range of fair trade bags, scarves, hats, belts, sarongs, bandanas, hair bands and gloves, however we are planning to expand our product range into other areas during 2009.
